Motorsport

Beginning in 2023, we began competing in Supersprint and time attack events at both club and State level in our Subaru BRZ, with aspirations to take on both Aus Time Attack and WTAC in 2025.

NSWRRC Supersprint Round 1 - SMSP GP

First round of the season and for us it was our shakedown after the car underwent significant changes suspension wise and also excited to debut our new livery designed and printed by our partners at Magnet Race Numbers.

We were keen to give the car a proper run and unfortunately in the fist session we suffered from a suspect noise and parked it for the one dry session.

After determining and rectifying the issue we managed to get back out, but every session for the remainder of the day was wet. So we weren't able to set an indicative time, we were however able to get the workings of the team going and able to get into a rythym.

We are next on track on the 23rd April so watch this space, we are hopeful we can get some good track time and properly shake down the car in preparation for Aus Time Attack in June.

CSCA Supersprints round 5 - Luddenham Raceway

Final round of the season and we were back at Luddenham raceway, where the track bug all started many years ago.

It was a scorcher of a day so most of the time was in the early sessions with our best of the day and new PB of 53.27 securing us first in class and closing out the championship for P1 in class as well. You can watch the lap here.

That brings a close to our 2024 schedule, with bigger goals on the horizon for 2025, taking on World Time Attack Challenge and Aus Time Attack. We will be taking a break from supersprint competition and using our time for practice and refining the car in preparation for WTAC 25.

NSW Supersprints round 6 - One Raceway

After our small time off after round 5 in September we were itching to get back on track, so we put the car on a trailer and set off towards the newly revamped One Raceway (formerly Wakefield Park).

On arrival it was clear this was a state of the art facility with fantastic facilities, but most of all we were excited to get on track!

We ran the first 3 sessions on 98, before deciding to run E85 to see if we could squeeze more time, and we did managing a time of 1:09.38 to take both a class record and an 86/BRZ lap record! And of course take away the top spot for our class.

We can't wait to get back to One Raceway and improve on that time.

If you want to check out the lap you can watch it here
